Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Toolsite is designed so that the least possible amount of data ever reaches us. Every calculator and every file tool runs entirely in your browser. This page explains what that means in practice, including how cookies and third-party advertising work.

1. Your files and calculations never leave your device

All processing — tax calculations, image compression and conversion, resizing, PDF merging and splitting — happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your images and PDFs are never uploaded to our servers or to any third party. After the page loads, the tools even keep working with your internet connection switched off.

2. Information we collect

We do not require accounts, and we do not ask for your name, email address or payment details to use the tools. We do not host file uploads and we do not see the numbers you enter or the files you process.

3. Cookies

We use a small amount of browser storage (localStorage) for one purpose: remembering whether you have accepted or declined advertising cookies, so we do not ask you again on every visit. This preference is stored on your device only — it is a strictly necessary record of your choice, not a tracking cookie.

You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser data for this site; the consent banner will reappear.

4. Third-party advertising (Google AdSense)

This site is free and is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Subject to your consent, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

  • If you decline, we do not load the AdSense scripts at all, and no advertising cookies are set by us.
  • If you accept, Google may use advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to personalise the ads you see.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time via Google Ads Settings, and review Google's own practices in the Google Privacy & Terms.
  • Third-party vendors, including Google, may also use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this site. You can visit aboutads.info to opt out of many third-party cookies at once.

5. Server logs and analytics

The site is served as static files from a global content delivery network. Like nearly all websites, the hosting infrastructure may process standard technical request data (such as your IP address, user agent and the requested URL) for security and abuse prevention. This data is not used to build profiles of individual visitors.

6. Your rights

Because your files and calculations never reach us, there is normally no personal data of yours for us to access, correct or delete. For data held by third parties (such as Google, when ads are personalise), use the opt-out links above. If you are in the EEA or UK, you have rights under GDPR; if you are in California, under CCPA — in both cases primarily exercised against the ad network that sets the cookies, since that is where any personal data processing occurs.

7. Children's privacy

The site is a general-audience service and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy materially, we will update the date at the top of this page. The version published here is the version that applies to your use of the site.
